macOS

  1. Open the .dmg and drag PR Flow to Applications.
  2. Launch it — PR Flow appears in your menu bar.
  3. Make sure gh is authenticated: gh auth status.

Windows

  1. Run the .exe installer and follow the prompts.
  2. PR Flow starts in the system tray, near the clock.
  3. Connect GitHub with the gh CLI when prompted.

Linux

  1. Make it executable: chmod +x PR-Flow*.AppImage.
  2. Run it — it docks into your tray / status area.
  3. Authenticate gh, and you're set.

Before you start.

Bring your own CLIsPR Flow uses your local CLI tools for authentication and data access wherever a provider has one: gh (GitHub), glab (GitLab), acli (Jira), and linear-cli (Linear). Gerrit and Azure DevOps connect directly via their APIs, using credentials you enter yourself.
Every write is yoursReview, comment, approve or request changes from the app — nothing posts until you submit, and it never merges. Your code and diffs never pass through PR Flow's servers. When you enable AI, PR content is sent directly from your machine to the provider you configured; choose a local provider to keep it on-device.
Update checksPR Flow checks in the background. Signed macOS and Windows builds install automatically; Homebrew and Linux builds show manual update guidance.
